Homewood Suites Peabody & Chandler take home Homewood conference awards

Homewood Suites Peabody takes home conference Stewardship Award

Pillar Hotels & Resorts is proud to recognize two key team members from the Homewood Suites Peabody for their outstanding teamwork and leadership abilities. On February 8, 2012, Arzu LeBlanc and Colleen Scarpola received the Stewardship Award for their involvement in the community.

Throughout 2011, Arzu and Colleen have demonstrated the Community component of our Four Pillars (Community, Consistency, Culture, and Communication) in their daily lives, both inside and outside of the hotel. They believe that the success of their team starts at their morning huddle with clear communication to all associates, and a display of passion and empowerment.

Arzu and Colleen have set an example for others by volunteering their time in the community. They have participated in grade school book readings, visiting Children's Hospital with the hotel’s mascot, Lewis the Duck, and donating over 100 books to the organization. Arzu and Colleen have also aided those in need by donating food to the “Haven for Hunger” during the Thanksgiving holiday. Additionally, they felt it was very important to support “Citizens for Adequate Housing”, by providing assistance to homeless mothers to care for their families in a safe and positive living environment.

Congratulations to the Homewood Suites Peabody for their recognition and embodiment of the Pillar value "Community"!
