CHANDLER, AZ (September 24, 2014) - Pillar Hotels & Resorts is proud to announce that Timothy Whitman, Assistant General Manager at Homewood Suites Phoenix-Chandler, was recently honored with a Hilton Spirit Award. The Spirit Award is one of the highest forms of recognition Hilton Worldwide offers top performers who impact guests, team members, the hotel and their community. Winners receive a trophy, lapel pin, $350 check and recognition from Hilton brand executives during a celebratory call.
Timothy has been employed with Homewood Suites Phoenix-Chandler, managed by Pillar Hotels & Resorts, since 2008. He is known by guests and coworkers alike as a jack-of-all-trades who can often be found helping out behind the front desk, serving breakfast, and even cleaning the pool. His team agrees that his enthusiasm is highly contagious and he is truly passionate about providing a memorable experience for each and every guest.

During Timothy's time off, he often attends several of the hotel's athletic groups' tournaments. In addition, he has been known to dress up as Santa Claus during the holidays and deliver special gifts to guests. He goes the extra mile and is really a one-of-a-kind team member who brings joy to all of those around him.
