Irving, TX (June 10, 2013) - Pillar Hotels & Resorts, the second largest franchisee of Marriott properties, was well represented at this month's CFRST General Managers conference held in Orlando, Florida, the largest in Marriott history (CFRST stands for Courtyard, Fairfield Inn, Residence Inn, Springhill Suites and TownePlace Suites). Pillar hotels brought home numerous awards celebrating achievements in guest satisfaction and revenue generation.
"Being measured against fellow top-performing hotels within our brands is a good barometer by which we can gauge our performance. Peer ranked awards provide a different level of perspective, removing competitive issues from the evaluation and focusing on delivery of brand hallmarks. We take pride in each of our hotels' achievements and congratulate them on their successes," says Dawna Comeaux, Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations, Pillar Hotels & Resorts.
Courtyard by Marriott brand accolades included the Silver Circle Award attained by hotels ranking in the top 20% of the brand in overall guest satisfaction. Under the leadership of LaChanze Culpepper, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Jackson, Mississippi received the Silver Hotel Award for reaching the top 18% of the brand with 88.2% overall guest satisfaction.
