Where do I begin - I have not been to this website before?

From the Pillar Hotels website you can learn about our company and also apply for or browse our open positions.

Once you click the "Career Opportunities" link you will see a list of positions that we are currently hiring for. Click on the name of the position to view more details about that particular job and to apply online to be considered for the position. If you are interested in being considered for a specific position, click "apply online" and you will be prompted to log in.

Additionally, you can search for jobs by keywords, city, state or postal code using the Search Open Jobs option located in the middle of the page just below the images. You can see all of our open positions by clicking on Browse Open Jobs tab located in the same area. This search option will allow you to search for jobs that are currently available.

Step 1: Log in by creating a profile as a new user. You do this by clicking to create new account. You must complete all the required fields before continuing.

Registering allows us to track your progress through the online application process. You will only have to register one time and the username and password you create as part of this process can be used by you in the future to apply to other jobs with us. Please keep track of your username and password as you will need them to apply for other positions with us.

Step 2: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the steps associated with the position you selected. You must complete all of the steps associated with the position in order to be considered for employment with our company.

If you are not able to complete all of the steps in one sitting, you will be able to return to the site to continue the remaining steps.

Once you complete all of the steps associated with the position you selected, you will be taken back to the "Career Opportunities Page" where you can view all the applications you've submitted, search or browse open positions or edit your profile. You can use the "Edit Your Profile" option to change any of your personal information like email address, phone number, etc. at any time. If you need to return to your profile at any time you will need to log back into the system using the username and password you created when you first registered. You can visit the website at any time, but you must log in if you are interested in applying for any positions.

Can I apply once to a position on this website to be considered for all related positions?

No. In order to comply with federal regulations and to provide equal opportunity to all applicants, you must complete the online application for each position you are interested in being considered for. Successful applicants will need to complete all of the steps for each specific position in order to be considered for employment with our company.

I have applied to a position before, but now I want to apply to a different position.

First, sign back in to your profile using the username and password you created when you originally registered on the Career Opportunities Page.

Once you are logged in you will be able to see your profile information and have the opportunity to make any necessary changes to your profile. Please note that you cannot delete previously loaded resumes, but you are allowed to add additional resumes and other documents as needed. It would be best practice to date each resume you are uploading.

You can search for another job by Keywords, city, state or postal code using the Search Open Jobs option located in the middle of the career site, just below the images. You can also see all of our open positions by clicking on Browse Open Jobs tab located in the same area. This search option will allow you to search for jobs that are currently available.

Once you click the search button you will see a list of positions that we are hiring for. Click on the name of the position to view more details about that particular job and to apply online to be considered for that position. The system will ask you to log in to ensure you apply with your already existing profile. Simply log back in to the system and you will be directed to the Online Application process to complete the required fields. The job you are applying to will be listed directly under the words "Online Application",



which will ensure you are applying for the right job. The information you entered when you submitted your first application will automatically populate into the next application. You will see your original application answers and be asked to verify that each page is accurate and complete. You may change any information as you go which will change your entire record (including any previous applications you may have submitted). You can also keep your application information the same by clicking "next" on each page.

If you have previously applied, there may be an additional assessment to complete that is separate from the original steps you completed when your original profile was created. This is because the qualifications for this position may be different than those of the position(s) you applied to before. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the steps associated with the position you selected. You must complete all of the steps associated with the position you selected in order to be considered for employment with our company.

Once you complete all of the steps associated with the position you selected, you will see a Thank you message stating that your resume has been received and will be reviewed. From this page you will now be able to go back to Search Open Jobs and apply to any additional jobs. It is important that you apply only to jobs based on location and or title of interest to you. In addition to this page you will also receive an email to the address you listed as your contact that will also serve as another confirmation that your Online Application has been received successfully and is under review by a recruiter.

You will then be taken back to the "Career Opportunities Page" where you can view all the applications you've submitted, search or browse open positions or edit your profile. You can use the "Edit Your Profile" option to change any of your personal information like email address, phone number, etc. at any time. If you need to return to your profile at any time you will need to log back into the system using the username and password you created when you first registered. You can visit the website at any time, but you must log in if you are interested in applying for any positions.

If you have forgotten your password, click the "Can't remember your Password" link in the Login section towards the bottom of the page to retrieve and modify your password.

Do I have to create a new profile with your company each time I apply for a position?

No. You only need to create one profile with us. We store your information so that you do not have to start from the beginning should you wish to apply for more jobs at a later time.

If you have previously registered, please log back into your profile using the username and password you created when you applied originally.

If you have forgotten your password, click the "Can't remember your Password" link in the Login section towards the bottom of the page to retrieve and modify your password.

I want to make changes to answers or to my resume I submitted during the application process for a specific position.

Once you complete the online application process for a specific position, you will be able to modify your answers and make changes to your online profile at any time using the "edit profile" link; however, in the event you are completing an additional assessment/questionnaire (separate from the profile page) you will not be able to modify it upon completion.

You will be allowed to attach additional updated resumes to your current profile but you cannot modify a previously attached resume. If you have parsed your resume in the text only field (which is recommended) that resume can be updated at any time. You may load additional resumes and cover letters as attachments and it would be best to date those files in the actual file name in order for the recruiter to identify the most recent copy.

I lost my Internet connection in the midst of applying for a job. Now what?

Once the Internet connection issues have been resolved, re-visit the Career Opportunities Page and log back in using your username and password.

Once you are logged in, you will see a profile has been created however, we cannot guarantee that all of your previous information has been stored if you had not completed the step and selected the next button.

If you were in the middle of a specific application process step, you may have to move through pages (although the data you previously entered and saved may not be there if you did not reach a next step saving point).

If you have forgotten your password, click the "Can't remember your Password" link in the Login section towards the bottom of the page to retrieve and modify your password.
